How To Create A Direct Link For Google Business Reviews

I frequently get asked by clients what they should be spending their limited time on to grow their website ranking.  While I could be like other SEO companies and ramble off a list of 50+ items, I try to keep it simpler.  I focus on three key areas:

• Business Reviews
• Backlink Building
• Content Generation

I’m a firm believer that if you can consistency complete and obtain the above mentioned items, your site will grow exceptionally well in organic results.  It will also grow pretty damn fast!  Yes, there are definitely some other things that can help but they have far less weight than the above mentioned.

First on the list, requesting and obtaining more business reviews.  While most of you may immediately think of Yelp, TripAdvisor and Facebook; I would like to focus on Google Business Listings.

Google has publicly announced on multiple occasions that the activity on your Google Business profile contributes to your search ranking.  What better way to increase activity than to generate more reviews?  But wait, how do you tell your customers to review you on Google?  It’s actually more difficult than you think since Google does not give you the ability to directly link to your Google Business Profile.

You therefore have two options.  Option A, you tell your customer to go to Google, search for your business name, click on your Google Business Listing on the right (hope that they’ve found the correct business), and then hope they can find the link to write a review.  Sounds confusion, I know.
